DAMON TONG   “Infant Phenomenon” curated by Damon Tong, White Tube, Hong Kong Art School 11 - 29 Mar,2009 Four local conceptual and multimedia artists revisit pen and pencil drawing techniques from their early days. Not without a sense of irony. The title "Infant Phenomenon" refers to gifted children, in curator Damon Tong's words, "When conceptual artists cease to be conceptual and shift their focus to return to the basic – drawing, it would be just like a new-born, innocent, simple and guileless. It is always pleasant to watch children playing." The exhibition is held 11 to 29 March 2009 at White Tube, the gallery of Hong Kong Art School, which serves as a platform for young graduates of HKAS and local artists to showcase their points of view, and is curated by HKAS graduate Damon Tong.
