G e r a r d B o o k l e
London, England. His formal training began at Ravensbourne School of Art and continued at Brighton College of Art, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts.
Based in Hong Kong, Gerard Bookle has been active in the local Art Scene since 1991. His collaboration with architects and designers has placed his painting, murals, and unique art pieces in various corporate collections such as Swire.
After a very successful debut in 2005 at Sin Sin Fine Art, Gerard Bookle’s work is now being sought after by private collectors in Asia, Europe and the U.S. and most recently by Cathy Pacific as featured in their first class lounge at London Heathrow Airport.
His work titled “Shadows and Light” used a diverse range of mediums
including glass, metal leaf and mixed media paints on canvas, to portray a personal perspective on the highs and lows encountered in the cycle of life.
In a world filled with contrast and duality, where the negative often
overshadows the positive, Gerard Bookle attempts to break through the
darkness in order to show us that even in sadness there is a beauty that should not be forgotten.
Gerard Bookle had done projects for Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong and Wynn Hotel Macau in 2006. The latest 2007 projects are displaying in Four Season Hotel in Mumbai, Shangri-la Hotel in Beijing and Crown Hotel in Macau.
