  Sin Sin Annex is glad to be one of the performing and installation venues of Around sound art festival and retreat organized by soundpocket this year. Miki Yui from Japan and Rolf Julius from Germany were two of the sound artists having live performances at Sin Sin Annex on 20 and 28 August 2010. All the audiences enjoyed Small music by Rolf Julius and Small sound by Miki Yui. They are interested and curious in the trick and secret of their delicate setup as well. This extraordinary "slow and deep listening" journey freshened up people's mind and the atmosphere of Sai Street.

Jumaldi Alfi at "Life/Art # 101: Never Ending Lesson" in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

1 September - 7 September 2010

Jumaldi Alfi is going to have an exhibition "Life/Art # 101, Never Ending Lesson" at Sangkring Art Space, which is a preview of an exhibit at Valentine Willie Fine Art in Kuala Lumpur. The opening will be officiated by Zawawi Imron on Wednesday, 1 September 2010 at 8 pm. It will run through 7 September 2010.

  Roland Hagenberg's commissioned Raiding Project "JapanLisztRaiding_zehn neue hauser" at Architecture Museum in Vienna, Austria

11 - 27 September 2010

Roland Hagenberg commissioned 10 Japanese architect's offices to design 10 houses as temporary accommodation for Raiding, the birthplace of Franz Liszt. On a predefined surface area of 5m x 5m each, Jun AOKI, Terunobu FUJIMORI, Sou FUJIMOTO, Hiroshi HARA, Toyo ITO, Klein Dytham Architects, Kengo KUMA, SANAA, TEZUKA architects and Yasuhiro YAMASHITA experiment with associations on building in a rural setting. The exhibition at the Architecture Museum in Vienna presents 10 model studies completed specially for the Raiding Project as well as a documentary film shot on video by Roland Hagenberg.

Besides the Qigong classes for Health & Healing, there will be a Chen Taiji Class running in Sin Sin Annex. This shortest Taiji Form is especially good for beginner and those who want to learn Taiji to start with. Yet it is still a very healthy and skilful art for people to work on. It could take months or years to perform gracefully but you may be surprised to find the positive effects towards the body within a short period of time of practice.

Not only with soft and gentle movements and Energy (Qi), Chen Taiji is the very special Taiji Exercise going also with Yang Energy (Qi) training as well. It will help individual to develop the strength and the power of the body.

Deep Emotional Energy Healing Qigong Workshop

We may all have some physical problems or life issues such as bad habits, negative emotions or bad temper that bother us from time to time. We may think they are minor problems but they could affect our lives in a big way and pull our Energy level down. Why can't we fully heal and why do problems keep coming back no matter how hard we have tried?

  Saori Bag

Originated from Japan, 'Saori' has been one of the most delicate hand-weaving technique on expressing the 'self', encourages creativity and appreciation of every piece of work being produced, different colours of yarn mingles together which none of the part is alike to another.

With such weaving technique being brought to Hong Kong by The Salvation Army Heng On became part of the training program as well as a career opportunity for disables since 1999, all Saori product embraces the heritage & art of Japanese weaving technique as well as caring for the community on helping the people in need.
