In October, Sin Sin Fine Art continued the celebration of our 10th anniversary, a beautiful book "10 Years After - Sketches" was published on the occasion of the "10 Years After" exhibition. We were blessed to be surrounded by beloved friends at the book launch and the book was well received. We would like to thank Mandy Yim and Victor Ma from Y-Space for an amazing dance Performance, it was a warm and wonderful evening filled with love and smile.

"10 Years After", 10th Anniversary Group Exhibition Date: 13 Sept - 31 Oct
This year Sin Sin Fine Art celebrated its 10th anniversary by bringing together 33 local and overseas artists who have the last ten years collaborated closely with Sin Sin. Our "10 Years After" was a unique exhibition. Each participated artists created artful cabinets especially for this event. Each artworks symbolized the strong creative bond that evolved over the years between the artists, Sin Sin and Hong Kong. We would like to thank you all for your continuous support over the past 10 years. We look forward to seeing you at many more of our wonderful upcoming events!
"10 Years After - Sketches"; curated by Sin Sin, published by MCCM and edited by Yang Yeung; is created in conjunction with the "10 Years After" Exhibition. The Silk Journey with Nadya at Sin Sin Atelier

Sin Sin Atelier was delighted to present to you an exciting array of textile works by Nadya.
Her collection of unique, hand-crafted garments is inspired by extensive travels through Asia and Europe. Her experience of working in the fashion industry in Paris, combining European sophistication with the excitement of Asian textiles and silhouettes, created the Nadya aesthetic -- a distinctive look worn by discriminating women around the world.
A portion of the proceeds from sale went to the Begawan Foundation Bali Starling Breeding and Release Program.

1. 機緣的意義: 馮明秋 Meaning in Timeing by Fung Ming Chip Opening Reception: 8 Nov / 6 - 9PM Exhibition Period: 8 Nov – 31 Dec
Sin Sin Fine Art proudly presents Fung Ming Chip’s latest achievement, Meaning in Timeing calligraphic works on view from 8 November to 31 December 2013.
This new series of twelve hanging scrolls, each with a small painting mounted above a large, delves further into the concept of time. The small paintings, all contain a continuation of the numerical sequence and an image from the twelve daylight hours. The large image below contains the continuation of number series and an image to engage in dialogue with the above.
Using line, continuity and perceived meaning of image, Fung maintains the characteristic of calligraphy, without Chinese characters.

2. repertoire by Miranda Tsui Opening Reception: 1 Nov / 6 - 8PM Exhibition Period: 1 - 11 Nov
Sin Sin Atelier proudly presents to you repertoire by Miranda. repertoire is a knitwear collection created by Miranda. Knitwear could be one of the most powerful contemporary languages to preserve and interpret traditional Chinese clothes-making philosophy. The author of flatness folded takes the challenge to create a capsule collection of knitwear, named repertoire fits with the dynamism of modern living while embracing China's millennia-old clothes-making wisdom of flatness, two-dimensional cutting and conservation.

Sin Sin Atelier proudly presents Khandro Thrinlay Chodon. It is our great honour and pleasure to have Khandro Thrinlay Chodon, a female Buddist practitioner and spiritual teacher, giving a teaching on 7 November, 6 - 9PM.
Khandro Thrinlay Chodon began her spiritual training as a small child and studied Eastern and Western philosophy at Berkeley. She has brought both Eastern and Western approaches to the spiritual psychology. Being a Buddist Rimproche, Khandro Thrinlay Chodon is devoted to bringing the wisdom of her ancient tradition alive in our modern world. Khandro Thrinlay Chodon has a large program of teachings, which include some in HKU.

Commenced for the first time as an exhibition that represent the dynamic of art practice in Yogyakarta in 1988, Biennale Jogja has now become one of the most robust and consistent visual arts events in Indonesia. Known as a flagship exhibition that showcase contemporary art practice and discourse, the biennale has contributed significantly to the dynamic of local and regional art scene in Indonesia and Southeast Asia particularly.
The Biennale Jogja XII will be focusing on the encounter between Indonesia and five countries in Arab region, namely Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Yemen. Curated by Agung Hujatnikajennong (Indonesia) and Sarah Rifky (Egypt), the biennale starts from a perspective that sees the contemporary art practice as a representation of modes of ‘productions–distributions–consumptions’ that have shaped the cultural globalization.
