Sin Sin Fine Art was proud to present a group exhibition of internationally renowned contemporary Indonesian artists; Abdi Setiawan, Andy Dewantoro and Eddie Hara. The opening earlier this month coincided with International Woman’s day and we celebrated both with friends from near and far. The energetic and often comic work of Eddie Hara was complimented in its presentation –we constructed a 4 meter long table recycling the crates from Abdi Setiawans sculptures. After painting it white we encouraged our guests to draw around the artworks, creating a wonderful collage of drawings! The contemplative and breath taking large scale paintings of Andy Dewantoro created a wonderful introspective atmosphere in our second gallery space. Abdi Setiawan’s sculptures stood amongst the guests at our opening providing a surreal but wonderful insight into the lives of Indonesian children who make the cities they live in their playground. We would like to thank all of those that made it to the opening and to take the opportunity to warmly invite you to ‘Lines’ opening on 12th April. Thank you for your continued support. |

ArtWalk // March 14th, 2012
This year ArtWalk celebrated its 12th successful year as the biggest charity art event in Hong Kong; a great one-night experience showcasing a range of visual arts in a variety of Hong Kong's art galleries. Sin Sin Fine Art was jam packed as ArtWalk-ers pilled into the space. The evening had a wonderful energy and atmosphere as visitors talked, enjoyed the artwork and contributed to our artistic table. Food this year was kindly donated by Teakah – Chai house. Their delicious scones and toasted treats were appreciated by all, inluding the Sin Sin gallery team! We would throughly encourage our friends to visit their quaint café and sample some of the wonderful things on offer! The ArtWalk benefiting charity for 2012 is, as last year, the Society for Community Organization (SoCO). Last year, a total of HK$400,000 was raised for the charity. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved that made it such a special event.
