Hands On - Wearable Art in Cashmere Felt

With her endless love for art and fabrics, Sin Sin introduces her cashmere creations during a trip to the highlands of Mongolia.  Surrounded by borderless ridges of grasslands, rings of felt tents, Cashmere goat herds and roaming wild horse, Sin Sin experiments with the ancient craft of felt-making, at the same time having the opportunity to design and make felt.  Spun, compressed, molded and sculptured: she morphed single Mongolian 100% cashmere fibers - considered the finest and rarest in the world - into an artistic collective of shapes and silhouettes, all by a pair of bare hands.  The result is an inspirational piece of art; being soft, light, fluid, elegant and refined all at once.

Come and experience the energy of bare hands, the patience of a person, and the timeless traditions of a noble tribe which Sin Sin seeks to preserve and reinvigorate!

Date: ongoing

Venue: Sin Sin Atelier, 52 Sai Street, Central, Hong Kong
