The New Year 2010 begins with the delightful opening of our French artist Herve Maury's solo exhibition "77", and his artworks surely put a smile on every single face that night!  To extend the cheerful atmosphere, a student gallery tour is held on the following Saturday afternoon in collaboration with Kids' Gallery, and we are amazed and inspired by the creativity of these little minds.

Celebration of the discovery of Leptoalax applebyi, by ADM Capital Fund

Named after Robert Appleby, this tiny brown frog spends most of its time hiding under leaf litter. The new species was discovered in central Vietnam by Australian Herpetologist, Dr. Jodi Rowley and identified by its cricket-like call.

Dr Rowley talked about her work mapping frogs in the Indo-Burma corridor and shared the experiences of tracing frogs. It was a wonderful night and every guest was delighted to see the new species.
