Thanks to your generous support, the annual fundraising campaign for 'Reach for the HeART' reached its climax with the opening of the charity art exhibition on 9 December. The cool evening was warmed up by the spirit of giving, and further accentuated by the charming performance by choir group 'Enharmonics' from the Chinese International School.
'Reach for the HeART’ programme was initiated by Sin Sin Fine Art in 2009. It provides free art workshops and other art activities that are specially designed for elderly patients with chronic diseases in public hospitals. It is a programme run by Art in Hospital, a registered charitable organization in Hong Kong. We have been encouraged by the positive feedback from the programme and hope to bring joy and light into the lives of increasing numbers of elderly patients.
If you would like to contribute to the cause; one third of the sale of the artworks, which will remain on display until the 31st December, will be donated to the charity or alternatively we have a set of greetings cards featuring paintings by the elderly patients, available from our Atelier.
Sin Sin and the team would like to express our sincerest thanks for your continued support, we wish you a happy new year and hope to see you at our upcoming exhibitions in 2012.
