The great experience of ArtWalk 2011 finished on 16 March. Sin Sin brought this biggest charity art event in Hong Kong with two exhibitions, Sun Guangyi Solo Exhibition at Prince's Terrace & a group show showcasing the artworks of 16 artists at Sai Street.

The delightful opening of Sun Guangyi Solo Exhibition was held in a warm springtime. Visitors and friends were enlightened by Sun's paintings which took the audience to travel through the spiritual journey of Heaven brought by Shangri-La.

I Gusti Ngurah Buda –Group Painting Exhibition "Hitcman" at Popo Danes Art Veranda, Bali

6 – 19 February, 2011

Danes Art Veranda presented Hitam Putih Group in a Group Painting Exhibition "Hitcman". The artists included, Agung Darmayuda, Alit Suaja, Anthok.S, Bangbang Ariana, I Gusti Ngurah Buda, Lekung Sugantika, Made Sudiarta, Pande Paramartha, Sani and Susana. In this exhibition, the artists did not present their individual artwork. They created a figure named Hitcman. Hitcman is a superhero who visualizes his vision and mission in art with compounding each Hitam Putih Group member's character. He is athletic, winged, armed and hold a globes. Hitchman was painted in a single 8 meters canvas that was painted together by those tenth Hitam Putih Group members.


Anne Leigniel – Performance "Line for Japan" at Aberdeen Street

To the benefit of the Japan earthquake relief effort, Anne Leigniel led a street performance "Line for Japan" on Aberdeen Street, between Caine Road and Staunton Street. Leigniel's performance echoed her performance at Tokyo's former French Embassy during last year "No Man's Land" event. The performance used the steep slope of Aberdeen Street to create an ink drawing on a 100 meter long paper band. Audience could participate to the drawing by holding on to the sides of the band which the line flew freely. The band was cut or torn into pieces signed, numbered and sold on a best effort basis to the profit of Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Efforts.


Pablo Posada Pernikoff – Exhibition "Cinco Elementos, Cinco Sentidos" at Colombia

13 April – 19 May 2011

Pablo Posada Pernikoff will organize a solo exhibition at Lalocalidad in Bogotá, Colombia. The opening reception will be held on 13 April at 7pm. Pablo will also held another exhibition at Tokyo in June.

Chinese International School, Virtuosity 2011 - "Year of the Phoenix"

Sin Sin is participating at the Chinese International School (CIS) Virtuosity 2011 as the opening brand supporting the event to raise money for a good course. The show will take place on the 16 April, 2011 at the Chinese International School Secondary Gym.

Virtuosity is an annual school charity fashion show that brings together multi-talented CIS students to raise money for a cause. This year, the money raised will be going to The Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (香港家庭福利會) for the less fortunate in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Family Welfare Society is a non-governmental organization that services through a family perspective that aims to enhance the well being of families and individuals in Hong Kong. Proceed will contribute to the Venue set up, Production and Administration costs for the show after covering all the production costs.

11 students showed up at the Atelier for a fitting last week and they fell in love with the outfits. The Oriental flavor colourful patterns of Sin Sin's new collection matches the theme "Year of the Phoenix"
