"Infant Phenomenon" curated by Damon Tong, White Tube, Hong Kong Art School

Four local conceptual and multimedia artists revisit pen and pencil drawing techniques from their early days. Not without a sense of irony. The title "Infant Phenomenon" refers to gifted children, in curator Damon Tong's words, "When conceptual artists cease to be conceptual and shift their focus to return to the basic - drawing, it would be just like a new-born, innocent, simple and guileless. It is always pleasant to watch children playing."

Roland Hagenberg will present his photographs together with Daido Moriyama in the exhibition "Kurashiki Photographs". Hagenberg’s book "20 Japanese Architects" was just published in Taiwan by Garden City Publishers (with photographs and texts in Chinese/English).

The first national "Xu Beihong Award" exhibition aims to see artists discover from amidst the tradition of Chinese art and vibrant social reality, and explore into the concepts, forms, styles and medium of Chinese art. Sun Guangyi is nominated for his two works 《天界-风中的经幡》.

American artist Rick Lewis will be having a show open in Tribeca mid to late March and running through April at Steven Amadee, 41 North Moore Street. The show will culminate with TOAST (Tribeca Open Artist Studio Tours) April 24-27.
