Ms. Sin Sin Man revisited our art friends in Jogja for the first time in last 2 years with Komang and Heather. It was very inspiring to visit Abdi Setiawan, Anusapati, Bob Yudhita Agung, Dwi Setianto, Eddi Prabandono Jumald Alfi, Kokok P. Sancoko, M. Irfan, Pande Ketut Taman and Yunizar.

The vibe in Jogja is casual, down-to-earth, open and welcoming to anyone who has a genuine interest in learning about the scene.

The openness starts with the artists themselves, most of whom are affiliated with studios made up of a number of artists from different generations. From modest to monumental, craft to contemporary, humorous to heavyweight conceptual work, the art emerging from Yogyakarta is refreshingly diverse and experimental.

After recharging from the wonderful Jogja trip, let’s look forward to Sin Sin Fine Art’s 2017 programs!
